Uniform Commercial Code 3 & 4
When processing checks, understanding regulatory requirements is critical, as they relate to federal and state laws. The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), specifically UCC 3 and 4, provides an overview of the definitions and banking relationship between a financial institution and its accountholders in the check environment. In this session, you will learn about the parties to a check and each of their rights and obligations. Let us help you understand the important tools around accepting checks for deposit, such as post-and stale-dated checks, and if you can put a stop payment on a Cashier's Check to name a few.
As an added value, this webinar includes access to a video recording for up to 90 days from the date of this webinar.
