Payments are getting faster, really fast, and RTP® is on the leading edge of the faster payments revolution in the U.S. Just what is the RTP® Network and how does it work? How does it compare to other payment channels? Who created and controls RTP® Network?
August 9th: RTP® 102: RTP® Network Participants and Transaction Flow
In this session we'll cover who the RTP® Network participants are and what they do. Our discussion will include who can use the RTP® Network, the prerequisites to implementing RTP®, and how RTP® Messaging works.
August 10th: RTP® 103: RTP® Prefunding, Settlement, and Reconciling
Going beyond the movement of messages is learning how the money moves. In addition to learning about the funding and settlement process in the RTP® Network, this class will help you understand how prefunding works, why it is required, and ways a financial institution can use the prefunding models within the Network.
