MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man robbed a bank in Memphis Thursday morning, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Police said the man robbed the Wells Fargo on Hacks Cross Road around 9:20 a.m. According to MPD, the man sped away in a dark car after robbing the bank.
No one was injured in the bank robbery, police said.
A day later, police released new details about the robbery. In a report, MPD said a man dressed in a light-colored bowie hat, a yellow construction vest, sunglasses and a facemask walked up to a teller window and said, "This is a bank robbery, give me all your money."
