Valley News Live

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Court documents obtained by Valley News Live have provided more details in the August 1 bank robbery at Wells Fargo.

According to the documents, police were called to the Main Avenue branch in Fargo for the reported robbery.

The suspect, Jay Barker, entered the lobby on foot, grabbed a pen and wrote on a piece of tissue “Robbery 20-50-100″ and handed the note to staff. He then put on a mask and demanded money.

The three bank tellers working at the time forcibly handed over $10,520 from their cash drawers. They say they didn’t see any weapons on Barker, but weren’t able to confirm that during the robbery. Barker then left the bank on foot and drove away.
