Keynote Speaker: Danne L. Buchanan, CEO

Danne Buchanan, CEOA founding force in the creation of NetDeposit, Danne was named CEO in 2003. Since that time, he has continued to build the company into an industry leader by providing financial institutions, commercial businesses, and check processors a revolutionary way to view and process check payments. A holder of two patents on electronic check processing, Danne led the team that pioneered remote deposit capture and testified before the United States Senate on behalf of the banking industry in support of the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act, or "Check 21" legislation. Danne also serves as Executive Vice President of the E-Business Solutions Group for Zions Bancorporation, of which NetDeposit is a wholly owned subsidiary. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of NACHA and is Vice Chairman.

We encourage workshop registrants to check in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the program to avoid missing the beginning of the sessions.

  • Cross Selling - Embrace it or Dread it
    This interactive workshop is designed to identify the need to cross sell. Then we will address developing features and benefits of your product or service and training your staff to sell them. You will also learn how to successfully promote your project or idea to management. Be ready for a high-energy brainstorming and program development session. Learn concepts and acquire tools that you will be able to use!

  • ACH: Getting Up To Speed
    Let us help you chart the course through the new and amended NACHA rules and the hottest industry topics. NACHA is introducing a series of rules to implement the industry's risk management strategy. Find out about recent rule changes including the Network Enforcement Rule, ODFI Reporting Requirements, the System of Fines Modification, the Company Name Identification Rule, International ACH, the Originator Watch List and the new ODFI Counseling Service. Many of the topics will be so current that we will not have a complete agenda until just before the conference. What you don't know can make your life more difficult. You will be better prepared to get maximum benefit from conference sessions by attending this workshop.

  • Steering Through Key Issues in Government Payments
    This workshop will focus on key issues and guidance will be offered for: reclamations, Notifications of Change (NOCs), Death Notification Entries (DNEs), child support payments, electronic tax payments, Electronic Benefit Transfers (EBTs), and Electronic Transfer Accounts (ETAs). Students are encouraged to share some of their toughest government payments challenges. You will be advised on those issues and we will share contact lists and other resources to help you.

Continuing Education Credits
