These workshops will navigate you through the ACH network specifically from the origination perspective. Understanding the warranties and liabilities and risk of the ODFI will help you make the right decisions as you establish relationships with originating companies.

- ODFI obligations and warranties
- Origination risk
- Definitions of Third-Parties
- Risks associated with Third-Parties
- Audit requirements of Third-Parties
- The need for ACH Rules compliance
- Originator Education of annual Nacha Operating Rule changes
- The ACH Security Framework
- Corporate Account Takeover mitigation techniques
- Standard Entry Class (SEC) codes, authorization requirements and time frames
- How to reduce risk by gaining:
- An understanding of the different types of risk
- What the Originator Agreement must cover
- Comprehension of what exposure limits are and why they are needed
- Knowledge of the criteria needed to evaluate your originators and set appropriate Exposure Limits
- Procedures to review exposure limits
- Information on handling over-limit file activity
- Types of agreements needed
