Jimmy R. Sawyers | Jack Vonder Heide Rich Oliver Biography Earlier in his career, Mr. Oliver served as planning analyst, Administrator of the Automated Clearing House, Chairman of the Federal Reserve's Electronic Payments Implementation Task Force, Manager and Officer in Charge of Software Development, Vice President in charge of Automation Services, the Federal Reserve System's Product Manager for Electronic Payments Services, officer in charge of business development and check software, and Staff Director for the Federal Reserve System's Policy Committee for Financial Services, where he was responsible for coordinating integrated financial management, project management, and strategic planning for all the Federal Reserve's payments services nationwide. He also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Management Committee. Elliott McEntee Biography Prior to joining NACHA in November 1988, Mr. McEntee was an Associate Director on the staff of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He was responsible for managing a function that oversees the nation's payments mechanism and financial services the Federal Reserve provides to banks, thrift institutions and the United States Government. Dennis H. Jones Biography As Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of Commerce One from 2001-2002, Jones was responsible for the company's administrative, engineering, finance, and marketing divisions. He also oversaw strategic accounts, marketplace management, marketplace services, and strategy consulting. Prior to joining Commerce One, Jones served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Accel-KKR, a Silicon Valley investment company. However, Jones is best known for his 25 years at FedEx Corporation, culminating in his role as Executive Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. As part of this role, Jones served on the company's five person Executive Committee that oversees all company operations. During his tenure at FedEx, Jones built a world-class technology organization with more than 5,000 professionals worldwide and an annual budget approaching $2 billion. Under his guidance, in 1994, FedEx introduced online package tracking, making it the first major corporation to do business on the Web. Two years later, Jones led FedEx in another first, developing the technology to process shipping transactions online. Under Jones' leadership, FedEx received many honors, including consistent recognition by ComputerWorld as one of the "Best Places to Work." In acknowledgement of Jones' lasting contributions to the company, FedEx named the centerpiece building of its 1.0 million square foot World Technology Center campus in Collierville, Tennessee "Dennis H. Jones Hall." Lee Wetherington Biography Lee has spoken for numerous trade groups, including ICBA, IBM, NACHA, Southern Financial Exchange, Florida Banker's Association, Georgia Bankers Association, Texas Bankers Association, Tennessee Bankers Association, Community Bankers of Wisconsin, Kansas Bankers Association, Missouri Independent Bankers Association, Iowa Bankers Association, ICB of Minnesota, Idaho Bankers Association, Nebraska Bankers Association, The Payments Authority, Mid-America Payments Exchange, GACHA, TACHA, WACHA, SoCACHA, UMACHA, and the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers. Lee also serves as the Technology Faculty Chair for the Georgia Banking School, the Midwest School for Community Bankers, the Florida School of Banking, GBA's Southern Operations & Technology School, and CBA of Georgia's Bank Directors College. Lee has authored several articles for financial trade periodicals, including Independent Banker. Lee received bachelor degrees in Economics and English from Duke University in 1990. In 1993, he completed graduate studies at Emory University before joining Goldleaf. In 1995, he earned the distinguished Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification from the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) Jimmy R. Sawyers Biography Active in the banking industry not only as a consultant but also as a speaker, author and teacher, Jimmy is on the faculty of the Barret School of Banking (formerly Mid South School of Banking) and the Southeastern School of Banking. Jimmy is a member of the Financial Institutions Committee for the PKF North American Network and the Memphis Technology Council. A frequent contributor to BankersOnline, Jimmy is the author of the book, IT Auditing for Financial Institutions. Jimmy, his wife Cindy, and their three children, live in Cordova, Tennessee. Jack Vonder Heide Biography Prior to founding Technology Briefing Centers in 1993, Jack was Vice President of Sales for a major financial services company and held marketing positions with IBM Corporation. Jack appears regularly on ABC News and has also been featured on Fox-TV, CBS Radio and in numerous newspaper and magazine articles. He has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Law School and is the author of two columns; Business on the Internet and Untangling the Web. Jack's clients include major banks, financial services firms, trade associations, Fortune 500 corporations, and a variety of public and privately held companies. |
