Risk Identification in the ACH Payment System
As the world of ACH continues to grow, both in volume and in e-payment options, the risks that parallel the payment system continue to expand. The focus of this workshop will highlight the need for risk identification and implementation of best practices in the areas of ACH risk management; including systems and controls, credit risk management, compliance risk, information technology and the oversight of Third-Party Service Providers. We will also take a look at the importance of balancing the ACH sales culture with strong risk management practices as more financial institutions incorporate the role of e-payments into their strategic plans.

ACH Update
Keep up-to-date by attending this workshop covering new and amended NACHA rules and the hottest industry topics. A new Standard Entry Class (SEC) code. Back Office Converstion (BOC), will allow merchants to convert checks presented by consumers and certain business accounts at the point of purchase into ACH debits. This new e-Check application is expected to have a major impact on ODFI's, RDFI's, and consumers. The BOC rules for processing and exceptions will be among the major topics discussed during this workshop. Other topics will include Regulation E and all modifications to the ACH Rules for 2007. Many of the topics will be so current that we will not have a complete agenda until just before the conference. What you don't know can make your life more difficult.
